Full Stack Database Developer

  • Ideally based in the North West within a commutable distance from the company headquarters in St Helens

Role

Inovus has started development of the world’s first AR laparoscopic (keyhole surgery) simulator with movement tracking capability. This is to directly compete with the overpriced, unrealistic and inaccessible VR simulators that have dominated the market for 20 + years. We intend to release a hybridised simulator that merges the real and the digital world to create a meta-physical environment that provides real tissue feedback opposed to the haptic feedback generated by the more expensive simulators on the market.

 

 

We are looking for a full stack developer to work alongside an AR/Game developer to build out the backend database for the platform. Capturing all the performance metrics from each surgical procedure a user performs and logging this in a database for continued monitoring.

  • Candidates will need to be proficient in the following:

  • MySQL

  • SQ Lite

  • Oracle and Advanced database systems

  • Python

  • Node Js

  • PHP

  • JavaScript

  • CSS

  • Mobile App development (IOS / Android)

  • User Account Management

  • Authorization and password handling

  • Data tracking

  • Data handling

  • Web Applications

  • Payment handling via a webapp / mobile app

  • UI/UX

  • A willingness to participate in Belbin Team Roles profiling
