Territory Sales Manager - UK - North

  • Ideally based in Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield regions – covering England & Scotland from Leicester upwards

  • £35-40k Basic Salary (Negotiable for right person) + generous performance bonus

Role

The role will see the appointed person sell a range of laparoscopic and medical simulation products to trainee surgeons, healthcare training professionals and procurement departments of NHS, private hospitals and Universities. The role is surgical and medical training focused. Additionally, the role demands an exceptional negotiator who is able to navigate the NHS buying process and ensure territory revenues and margins grow. A mixture of new business and account management, this is a home based, target led, sales role that requires extensive travel throughout the territory.

Candidate requirements

  • Applicants will either have a yearning to enter into sales or to further expand their sales careers, be determined and demonstrate a genuine hunger to learn and earn

  • 2 years proven commercial experience working with customers in surgical/ medical sales, marketing or technical support – ideally within surgical/ medical simulation sector OR

  • Have the medical and surgical experience AND the right behavioural profile to be successful in sales. (Self driven, high achiever, self confident, strong character, an explorer and people person) Sales training will be provided

  • Have knowledge/ experience of resuscitation and critical care 

  • Have knowledge of medical training grades and nomenclature to denote seniority in training

  • Clean Driving License valid for the UK

  • Fluency in written & spoken English

  • A willingness to participate in Belbin Team Roles profiling
