This month saw the official launch of the Inovus range of healthcare simulation products in Australia with our new distribution partners Mentone Educational. Having started working together in early 2018 both companies were keen to showcase the exciting offering of affordable simulation products from Inovus. With products in the surgical and anaesthetic simulation space what better place to do this than the ANZCA and RACS joint congress. The conference, held in Sydney, played host to thousands of surgeons and anaesthetists from across Australasia.
The Pyxus Pro Move laparoscopic simulator, a favourite in centres across the UK proved hugely popular throughout the event with its world leading port entry and scope system being of particular interest. Not to be outdone, the recently launched Sellick cricoid pressure trainer also caused quite a stir. The team were in undated with interest in this innovative new device aimed at improving patient safety in anaesthesia through improved understanding and performance of Sellick’s manoeuvre.
Inovus CEO, Dr Elliot Street, had this to say about the event, “The joint ANZCA and RACS congress has proven to be the perfect place to launch our products. It has been a real pleasure to work alongside our new partners Mentone Educational this week. Their high level of understanding of our products combined with a detailed knowledge of the local market makes them the perfect partner to help us improve access to high quality and affordable healthcare simulation across Australia.”
