The 2019 St Helens Chamber Awards took place on Thursday 16th May. The evening was an exclusive event for the chamber’s finalists, sponsors and judges, held at the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens and was attended by approx 300 guests including high profile figures from businesses in and around the St Helens area.
Alex McGrath, Inovus Medical’s Electronic and Product Engineer had been shortlisted for The Apprentice of the Year under 20 award. This particular award provides a platform to showcase excellence in, and raise awareness of, the Apprenticeship programme, which has proved successful in finding local talent in a variety of professions. It promotes the consistent development of skills and highlights their value to employers.
Alex who joined Inovus in 2018 has made a significant contribution to the development of key electronic products within the Inovus range has shown a dedication to excel in his professional development and learning at every opportunity.
The dedication and enthusiasm Alex brings to his role within the team obviously shone through for the judges at this years chamber awards as he was successful in not only being shortlisted for The Apprentice of the Year under 20 award, he actually walked away with the title.
Alex who was joined by Inovus Medical’s Dr Elliot Street CEO and Jordan Van Flute CTO at the awards ceremony were delighted with Alex’s success.
