The bozzini™ Laparoscopic Simulator is the world’s first affordable and accessible ‘simulated laparoscopic stack system’, offering real to life laparoscope and camera handling simulation at a fraction of the cost of using a retired or repurposed stack system. This high-fidelity simulator utilises the proprietary bozzini™ light source and camera technology to deliver a full stack system experience through an affordable, compact, table-top device.
The new system not only utilises some of Inovus Medical’s unique and innovative design features, such as its highly popular port entry trainer, but is perfect for use with Inovus Medical’s range of synthetic soft tissue models and with animal by-products, making the bozzini™ Laparoscopic Simulator, perfect for running high fidelity wetlab courses.
The addition of the bozzini™ Laparoscopic Simulator to the Inovus portfolio is a major step towards the company having the world’s most vertically integrated range of laparoscopic simulators and goes a long way to making Inovus the one-stop-shop for all laparoscopic simulation needs.
The bozzini™ Laparoscopic Simulator is the second institutional laparoscopic simulator to be added to the range.
The system is perfect for simulation centres and teaching institutions who want to perform close to life laparoscopic simulation with particular focus on training real to life camera handling skills.
Dr Elliot Street, Inovus Medical’s CEO said “We are excited to be bringing a new solution to the surgical training arena, an environment where access to affordable, realistic training equipment has historically proved difficult to obtain. As with all Inovus Medical products we have listened to surgical trainers and trainees to determine how we can best meet their requirements. The bozzini™ Laparoscopic Simulator meets what has, up until now, been an unmet need in delivery of close to life, high fidelity laparoscopic simulation where there is particular focus on using real laparoscopic camera systems; the bozzini Laparoscopic Simulator does just that at the fraction of the cost of other options.”
